APNRTS conveys wishes to all the NRTs and NRIs on the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for their tremendous contribution towards the development of the state and the country. NRTs are an integral part of the state and are an 
extended part of our society. 

   The theme of the 17th PBD is "Diaspora: Reliable Partners for India's Progress in Amrit Kaal.” PBD is celebrated once in every two years to strengthen the 
engagement of NRIs with the Government and reconnect them with their roots.

   9th January commemorates the return of Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa to India in 1915. To mark this day, the tradition of celebrating Pravasi Bharatiya Divas started in 2003. The 17th PBD Convention is being held from 8 – 10 
January 2023 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
