Sri Venkat S. Medapati and Sri K. Dinesh Kumar attended a virtual meeting on Dt.15.12.2021 with Sri Mukesh Kaushik, Protector of Emigrants (POE), Ministry of External Affairs on issues, challenges related to Safe and Legal migration, Public Awareness programmes and way forward.
Sri Venkat Medapati explained about the proactive measures taken by APNRTS in educating the migrants about the Safe & Legal Migration through Migration Awareness Campaigns, brought the findings of the “Returning Migrants Survey” conducted by APNRTS to the notice of the POE, shared his thoughts about the ways of limiting illegal migration etc. He stated that APNRTS is open to work with POE, OMCAP, APSSDC and TOMCOM to spread the awareness on safe migration and legal routes to go abroad for work.
Officials from the POE, MD & CEO - APSSDC, GM - OMCAP and GM – TOMCOM participated in the virtual meeting.
