Sri Venkat S. Medapati and Sri K. Dinesh Kumar attended the Business Conference Meeting “The Management and Impact of Migration in Romania” – Perspectives and solutions on addressing skill gaps of migrant workers on Dt.14.12.2021
Meeting was organized by TAKT Manpower Romania, The Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Romania and PATROMIL. Main objectives are sharing information on the procedure for recruiting non-EU citizens and advantages of outsourcing. Role of Government initiatives and Skill Development Agencies in creation of a sustainable talent supply chain corridor between India and Romania. Industry perspectives on difficulty of finding local talent and the necessity of employing non-EU workers. Skill Development strategies to alleviate mismatch and fulfil local industry needs.
Sri Venkat Medapati explained about Hon’ble CM Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy gari vision on Skill Mission of Govt. of AP, importance of the Dept. of Training & Skilling under which APSSDC’s role in trainings and upskilling the graduates and passing out students. Also, briefed about abundant skilled workers available in AP in all sectors who can be placed in Romania. Further, explained the services of APNRTS along with the role in the welfare of migrants post abroad placements.
Participants of the meeting are Romanian Ambassador & Indian Ambassador, NSDC & ILO representatives, United Nations Representatives, Main National Employers’ Associations of Romania along with Romania Industry representatives (Construction, Transport & Logistics, Naval, Military, Banking, IT, Hospitality) with over 1,000 companies.
