A first group of 12 candidates from the first batch trained at APNRTS Skill Development Centre Guntur received the visas for Qatar to work in a company.

A first group of 12 candidates from the first batch trained at APNRTS Skill Development Centre Guntur received the visas for Qatar to work in a company named AJ Trading & Contracting W.L.L, Qatar. These candidates cleared the required medical tests and will travel to Qatar in the second week of February after completing the mandatory Pre Departure Orientation Training in Chennai.
 The client AJ Trading & Contracting W.L.L, Qatar has a requirement of “Electricians” and visited the APNRTS International Skill Training at Guntur to conduct the interviews on Dt.23.12.2019. A total of 14 candidates attended the interviews and all the 14 candidates were selected after the personal interview and trade test. Recruitment partner Mecton was also present during the interviews.
These candidates were trained in the “Industrial Electrician” course at the International Skill Centre of APNRTS at Guntur for a period of 90 days along with free boarding and lodging facilities provided by APNRTS. The training was provided following the international standards which are acceptable in the Gulf companies. APNRTS hired trainers with relevant international experience especially from the Gulf countries. APNRTS designed a rigorous training curriculum focusing more on practical. A sophisticated lab was set up with the tools and equipment which are used in most of the Gulf companies. Along with the core subject, candidates were also trained in the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) modules. The candidates were also trained in soft skills, personality development, Hindi language etc.
These candidates again were given a 15 days refresher training in Chennai at Mecton Training Centre to brush up the important topics and prepare them for the interviews. The expenses for the refresher training were totally borne by APNRTS.
The selected candidates for Qatar visited APNRTS Head Office today and met the President Sri Venkat S. Medapati. The candidates thanked APNRTS and the President for providing free training along with free food and accommodation. They also mentioned that APNRTS has been supportive all the way from the beginning of the training till the time of the visa approval.
APNRTS President Sri Venkat S. Medapati congratulated all the candidates and wished them all the best for their career. He assured them that APNRTS will offer any possible support during their employment. He reiterated that this is a golden opportunity which very few will get and told to use this opportunity as a stepping stone for their bright future. APNRTS staff explained to the candidates about the services offered by APNRTS along with the Pravasandhra Bharosa Bima which is very beneficial to the migrants. Sri B.H. Elias, Gulf Convener; Sri M.V.N.R. Narsa Reddy, Provisional Coordinator, Kuwait, Sri Nasser, Kuwait along with staff of APNRTS were also present in this meet.
