APNRTS has taken initiative to bring Global Design based industries and Academic Professionals together to understand the talent gaps and possible opportunities to bridge them. Two of the prominent automotive industries experts and 17 engineering institutes HODs and professors from Mechanical Engg. Dept. across AP participated. An exchange of thoughts, expectations and current limitations are discussed and debated for building suitable “Design Education” through industry partnership. The session is focused on identifying the importance of “Design culture” within engineering society and methods applied in universities abroad.
In the seminar, Sri. Venkat Medapati – President, APNRTS in his opening remarks, highlighted the need for stepping up in academic training to meet the current industry requirements. He explained present govt’s drive for quality education at all levels to create the talent pool of global standards. He said, as an entity of AP govt., APNRTS is happy to facilitate bringing global industry experts and academia together to discuss ways to upgrade curriculam for quality education to meet industry requirements and better employability.
